Yesterday, we hosted our first School Council meeting of the year. The turnout was wonderful and we truly enjoyed connecting with and getting to know all the community members in attendance as we discussed the purpose of school councils, fundraising goals, school updates and potential future school-wide initiatives.
Elections were also held at the meeting.
- Nellie Mirashi & Daisy Xiao were elected as Co-Chairs
- Sana Naqvi was elected as Treasurer
- Sana Naqvi and Teenna tsang were elected as Co-Secretaries.
- Emily Qu, Johnny Cheung, Dirusha Khushal, Jasmine Gongye were elected as Voting Members
We want to thank all the parents who attended the meeting, and we encourage everyone to consider becoming involved in School Council. You don't need to be an elected member of the School Council to get involved. Please feel free to just come and listen to the discussion.
